Howling Fjord Ore Farm: Tips & Tricks

  1. Amazing amounts of Cobalt Ore can be found in abundance in Howling Fjord.
  2. Import Erosium’s farming route ahead of time to make the most efficient use of your time. Focus on areas where Ore spawns most frequently, and be sure to cover as much ground as possible in each run.
  3. Use addons: such as GatherMate2, Routes and TSM which can be incredibly helpful for keeping track of Ore spawn locations. Be sure to install and use them to maximize your efficiency.
  4. Level Mining Skill up in Northrend. The higher level your skill the more amount of ore and materials you will loot from this farm.
  5. Be prepared: Bring plenty of inventory space & Darkmoon Firewater, and any other necessary items to keep yourself going.
  6. Sell smartly: Once you’ve collected a significant amount of Ore, be sure to sell it at the right time and place. Check auction house prices regularly to ensure that you’re getting the best possible price for your ore.

Howling Fjord Route

This is a simple route to cover the maximum amount of ore nodes within the zone.

By following these tips and tricks, you should be able to farm Ore in Howling Fjord efficiently and effectively, and turn a profit by selling it on the auction house.

You will also see treasure chests on this route, loot them for extra loot.
