Welcome to Erosium.
If you’ve made your way here, there’s a good chance we have something in common.
Maybe you’re the kind of person who finishes a film and immediately wants to talk about it. Maybe you’ve spent hours discussing a game with your friends, arguing over a TV finale, recommending books to anyone who’ll listen, or wondering why a great series suddenly lost its way.
That’s exactly why Erosium exists.
This isn’t a news website chasing every headline or a review site trying to score everything out of ten. It’s a place for honest opinions, thoughtful discussions and the occasional passionate rant about the games, films, TV shows, anime and books that genuinely deserve to be talked about.
Why I Started Erosium
I’ve always loved stories.
Whether they’re told through a game, a television series, a film or a book, the best stories stay with you long after the credits roll. They make you think. They make you laugh. Sometimes they frustrate you. Sometimes they completely change the way you look at something.
Those are the conversations I enjoy having.
Over the years, I found myself constantly analysing why something worked—or why it didn’t. Not just whether I enjoyed it, but what the writers, directors or developers did to earn that reaction.
That’s what you’ll find here.
Not just opinions.
The reasons behind them.
Honest Opinions, Not Consensus
One thing you’ll quickly discover is that I don’t chase popular opinions.
Sometimes I’ll love something everyone else hates.
Sometimes I’ll criticise something that everyone seems determined to defend.
That’s perfectly fine.
The goal has never been to agree with everyone.
The goal is to be honest.
If I think a film misses the point of its source material, I’ll say so.
If I think a game wastes incredible potential, I’ll explain why.
If I think a TV series gets something spectacularly right, I’ll happily give it the praise it deserves.
Good conversations don’t happen because everybody agrees.
They happen because people are willing to explain their point of view.
What You’ll Find Here
Erosium covers a wide range of topics, including:
- Gaming
- Television
- Films
- Anime
- Books
- Internet culture
- The occasional topic that’s simply too interesting not to talk about
Alongside my YouTube videos, you’ll also find long-form articles that go beyond the videos themselves.
Rather than simply turning a script into a blog post, I use each article to explore ideas in more depth, add extra analysis and continue the conversation. If you’ve already watched a video, the article should still give you something new to think about.
You’re Welcome to Disagree
Some of my opinions will probably annoy you.
That’s okay.
I’m not trying to build an audience that agrees with everything I say. I’d much rather build a community that enjoys discussing ideas, even when we come to different conclusions.
If you think I’m completely wrong about a game, a film or a TV series, I’d genuinely love to hear why.
Some of my favourite conversations have started with someone telling me they completely disagreed with one of my takes.
Just keep it respectful, and we’re all good.
Thanks for Stopping By
Whether you’ve found Erosium through YouTube, Google or a recommendation from someone else, thank you for being here.

There’s never been a better time to be a fan of games, films, television, anime and storytelling.
So let’s talk about them.
Welcome to Erosium.
